A skin+health supplement from GNC.

Have heard reviews from friends that this product helps to curb oily skin. Upon reading the ingredients, Pearl Powder attracts me (is said to improve complexion) so, I decide to get a tub to try. Initially, was very doubtful regarding the oil control thingy, but well, since it contains so many vitamins, even if it does not help to control my oily skin, I will treat it as a health supplement.

After drinking consecutive for about 3months, my oiliness does improve alot! Highly recommended for those who want to achieve balance in both skin and health!

It has got a look-alike apearance with Honey. Very sticky. But, not as sweet as honey.

My routine: Mix one teaspoon with water every morning on empty stomach. One tub last me around 3-4 months.

DKNY Watch

Tdy is a tiring yet fruitful day. My dear hubby made a suggestion to have a car wash ourselves plus a gym workout. Well, though I know its tedious to wash a car, but still go ahead wif his suggestion. One reason is that though our maid wash the car once a week, but no matter wat, we are more detailed in making sure that every little corner, whether interior or exterior is been thoroughly cleaned. 2nd reason is for slimming!! Yes.. Its time for me to shed some fats!

Though we place 2 layers of car mats to protect the original floorings, but somehow I still saw particles slip underneath. Wif the dim washing bay light, I cldn't see clearly and without a vacuum, I can't do a really clean job. So I told hubby we should get a mini vacuum.

After gym and my fav steam bath, we headed to IMM, hoping to get a cheap mini vacuum. Well, instead of buying mini vacumm as planned (actually none catches our eye), I got myself a new watch for the New Year!

Oh.. Thumb Thumb

Had a bad start of the year. First, I cut my left face against my sis's hse's keypad lock. Quite a deep cut manz! Scar have faded quite abit though (Tks to BB cream??).

Secondly, I hurt my left jaws. And now, I hurt my left thumb. All because im relocating my office files to the compactus. Guess the files are too heavy and my left thumb thumb cldn't take the weight, hence I sprained it without knowing. I din feel anything until the next day afternoon when I realise tat my left thumb cldn't bend! At first, there's only slight pain but as the time pass, the pain got worse. By the time when I reach home, the pain has spread not only my entire left thumb but also down to my wrist. Even had trouble washing the right side of my body.. Ahahahah... "Right hand wash left side of body and vice versa" Ahahahah... But lazy Mrs Chris refuses to seek help. Thought by massaging, it will heal very soon.

Next morning, thumb thumb swollen!! This time I'm really worried. Told my hubby tat I'm seeking help from his mum who is a physician! Yes. A free ready physician at home but lazy Mrs Chris just.... Haiz... plain lazy...

Out of desperate, I finally request MIL to acupuncture for me.

I swear its damn damn painful! I scream out when the needle poke right thru my swollen area. Esp the right needle. Almost fainted manz!!! The reason why I requested for acupuncture is becoz of its faster healing process, so I din regret.

I was wondering... If these slim needles is enuff to make me feel giddy, wat abt pushing a baby out from my womb? The pain will be at least 100times more! Oh my!

Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Gel

Cost S$44 for a 150ml tube at any local Laneige Counter. This got to be another of my favourite Laneige product. Purpose is to remove dead skin cells. A kind of exfoliating products. With the strawberry extracts, it is very gentle on face and suits all skin type. Unlike sm exfoliating products which I find it quite rough on face. For strawberries lover, u will definitely luv the smell!! After each massage, face feel smoother, cleaner and clearer. And I find tat after exfoliating, my make-up tend to blend in more smoothly.

Directions to use: On dry cleansed face, squeeze abt size of 10c/20c coin and spread it evenly on entire face. Gently massage for abt 1min in circular movements and rinse off. Use once or twice a week. But I usually used it abt 3-4 times a week. And it can last me for quite a few months.

Avance Lash Serum EX

A product from Japan which cost 1890yen for a 7ml bottle.

This transparent product is meant to lengthen & thicken yur eyelash. I never know tat there's such products which cld lengthen eyelash until I saw someone organising make-up spree in Live Journal. Was very amazed and I began gathering info on which brand is more effective.

Initially, I'm eyeing on DHC, but a friend's colleague advise me to go for Avance instead. But of course its slightly more expensive than DHC. Well, which I don't really mind as long as it works! And yes, it has live up to its reputation! By 3rd week or so, I notice that my eyelash has indeed grown longer! I suddenly realised that my eyes can really talk!! Ahaha.. Now, my eyes look more lively than b4. I have been using this for a few months already, I guess it has grown to its maximum. But will still continue using just in case it shorthen back??? Ahahahaha...

Directions to use: Just like applying mascara, apply wif Avance every night on clean lashes (top and bottom), preferably after yur night-time skin regimen. (I dun know if it works better when u rub the roots of yur eyelash with the brush.. Ahahaha.. Tat's wat my sis taught me!) OR if you are applying mascara, u can use this as a base.

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Plus

This Korean brand is introduced to me by an ex-colleague of mine. Frm wat I know, either all/most of their prdts is water-based which attracts me in the first place. And of course, this got to be one of my favourite mask! Cost S$45 for a 80ml bottle at any local Laneige Counter.

This is a gel-based overnight mask. Texture is smooth and got a very nice fragrant. U won't be surprised to wake up with a vibrant moistured face. And most importantly, its so hassle-free to just leave it on yur face overnight! This is great for all skin type.

Directions to use: Just apply it as the last step of yur night-time regimen. Use once or twice a week.

P/S: I like to put all mask in the fridge coz upon applying, it gives me a cooling effect which i find it very soothing!

Personal Reviews on BB Creams

My skin problem:

Uncontrollably oily over the whole face, Tend to oxidise very fast, Lack of radiance. Am very troubled over my very oily face. Gotta touch up my make up very often. Despite trying several brands of foundations, but, seems like i have not found one which suits me. So i was very tempted when i come across wonderful reviews on BB creams.

After i own BB cream: Cleanser, Laneige Booster, Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2, Laneige perfect renew dual touch eyes, La Colline Cellular Hydro Matifying Fluid, Care Plus pre-makeup cream (wif BB cream, now i can skip this step occasionally), BB cream, Channel SPF25 Teint Controle extreme Powder.

After owning BB cream, i fell in love with the after-effect and definitely addicted to it!! It's every ladies best friend!! Since then, I have officially remove my long-time favourite Biotherm Matte Souffle Foundation from my dresser to my cabinet!! Ahahaha!! But, to clarify, if not for my oily skin, Biotherm Matte Souffle Foundation is a good prdt. It really brightens up yur skin, giving a natural radiant look!! *Thumbs up*

Skinfood Aloe Sun BB Cream SPF 20

This is my very first own BB cream. Texture is smooth, easy application. Upon application, i do look slightly radiant, coverage is quite good. But, oil ctrl is only so-so for me, but definitely better than foundations i used previously. The plus pt of this prdt is that it really improvise my skin texture after abt just 2-3 applications. Skin feels smoother, slightly radiant than b4, pores minimized and lesser breakouts.

Skinfood Mushroom BB Cream SPF20

Bought this at S$39.30 (Including Shipping). Haven tried on my face yet, coz, i tested on my hand and find it quite oily. Hence, quite reluctant to try. Hmm.. Prob will try it out when im not going out. Ahaha.
